Elden Ring: The Board Game updatesUpdated a year ago

Latest Kickstarter Update

Tarnished, you have done it.

You have risen, emboldened by the flame of ambition. And now, ELDEN RING: The Board Game will be brought into being, to grace your tabletops!

You’re surely wondering what will happen next. So, let us speak of what’s to come…

What Happens Next? Pledge Management & Shipping

In around 6-8 weeks we’ll be opening the pledge manager.

The pledge manager is an online system where you’ll have an account with the same email address you used for Kickstarter. There are multiple pledge managers available, and we’ll let you know closer to the time which one we’ll be using for ELDEN RING.

Once you’re logged in to the pledge manager, you can:

  • Tell us what the money you pledged was for (confirming your selected pledge level and any add-ons you chose during the campaign)
  • Change or upgrade your pledge level
  • Choose any more optional add-ons you’d like to buy
  • Confirm your shipping address and pay for shipping

How Do I Access the Pledge Manager?

You’ll get an email invitation when the pledge manager opens. We’ll also post updates here on Kickstarter.

My Card Declined! What Do I Do?

Once a campaign ends, Kickstarter collects all the pledged funds. That means right about now, Kickstarter will be charging the debit or credit card you used to back ELDEN RING: The Board Game.

Sometimes gremlins get in the system and payments don’t immediately go through. Don’t worry if your card is declined, because Kickstarter will give you seven days to make payment.

If you’re not sure why the payment was declined, we recommend contacting your bank first.

If you’re still having issues after that, get in touch with SFG Support, or wait for the pledge manager invitation to arrive in your inbox.

A Message from Teamforged

Hello again, Tarnished. Sherwin here. Now the live campaign has come to a close, I wanted to share a special message from not only myself, but all of the Steamforged team.

We’ve been thrilled to have so many of you begin this journey with us into the Lands Between.

From hanging out in the comments and chatting until the early hours of the morning, to eagerly anticipating the result of the next vote so I can get writing the story (and also a healthy dose of fear when I realised that I had absolutely no idea how to end it after a couple of days…), and then seeing the hard work of my colleagues come to life on the Kickstarter page, this has been an amazing experience.

I expected to see a community with serious levels of dedication going into the campaign, and you didn’t disappoint. Seeing how passionately you engage with ELDEN RING is humbling, and something I won’t easily forget.

We’ll be a little quieter in the short term, while we not only take a short rest to drink our flasks, but also continue development of the game, including some discussions on some of the brilliant suggestions we’ve seen in the comments.

But don’t worry – we won’t be silent. I very much hope to see all of you again over the coming months as I jump into the comments each week, and we publish our regular monthly updates. The campaign might be over, but there’s a lot to look forward to – development diaries, production samples, and of course, conversations continuing both here and in the ELDEN RING Facebook group.
